2012 Vehicle Reservation Policies

Beginning Monday, December 12, 2011
Reservations for travel from April 18, 2012 through May 20, 2012 may be made via the Internet. Reservations may also be made via the telephone or in person. Up to five transactions (one way or round trip) will be accepted per telephone call. Reservations may also be submitted via the mail.

Tuesday, January 10, 2012 thru Sunday, January 15, 2012
Headstart customers may make reservations for travel from May 21, 2012 through October 14, 2012 via the Internet. Reservations will also be accepted through the U.S. Mail. Up to five transactions (one way or round trip) will be accepted per mailing. All reservations will be processed as received.

Transferable Headstart Reservations – Three of the five transactions may be designated as transferable reservations. A transfer slip will be sent and must be returned no later than May 15, 2012 or 30 days prior to the scheduled departure of the first segment of the reservation. Customer must provide the name, address and the year, make and model of the vehicle traveling. A confirmation will then be sent to the customer.

Beginning Tuesday January 17, 2012
Reservations for travel from May 21, 2012 through October 14, 2012 may be made via the internet. Reservations requests will be accepted through the mail. Up to five transactions (one way or round trip) will be accepted per mailing. All reservations will be processed as received.

Beginning Tuesday, January 24, 2012
Reservations for travel from May 21, 2012 through October 14, 2012 may be made via the internet. Reservations may also be made via the telephone or in person. Up to five transactions (one way or round trip) will be accepted per telephone phone call.

Beginning Monday June 18, 2012
Reservations for travel from October 15, 2012 through December 31, 2012 may be made via the internet. Reservations may also be made via the telephone or in person. Up to five transactions (one way or round trip) will be accepted per telephone phone call. Reservations can also be submitted via the mail.

2012 Martha’s Vineyard Reservation Only Dates:
Every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from June 22 through September 3, and May 25 through May 29, July 3, July 5, October 5 and October 8.

Payments
Space will be reserved for cars and trucks upon prepayment. Cash, Check, American Express, MasterCard, Visa or Discover credit cards are accepted for advance reservations. Service fees are assessed for returned checks.

Payments may be made via our website, telephone, ticket offices, reservation offices or via US Mail.

Vehicle reservations can be cancelled or changed by calling 508.477.8600 or 508.693.9130 during office hours. There is a $10.00 fee for all vehicle reservations cancelled entirely and returned for refund. A minimum of fourteen days notice is required to receive a refund on vehicle fares. Reservations may be changed up to one hour before the scheduled departure. Reservations changed less than fourteen days prior to scheduled departure and subsequently cancelled are non-refundable. You can make the first change (one-way or round trip) without incurring a fee. All subsequent changes will be assessed a $10.00 fee. Passenger fares are fully refundable.
