Vehicle Reservation Wait List

Our wait list is a computerized search for space based on cancellation or change. Requests are on a first come, first served basis. Changes are automatic. We will continue to check up to 48 hours prior to the date you want to travel. If your plans change, be sure to cancel your wait list request to avoid any unwanted changes or charges. You will receive a wait list confirmation slip confirming the dates and times of your wait list parameters. Please check it carefully for accuracy. You will be notified by mail of any changes made more than one week in advance. Matches made less than a week from travel date will be confirmed by telephone. Please provide all necessary contact information. Reservation updates can also be viewed on our Online Vehicle Reservation Site. Wait list matches (one way or round trip) are subject to all cancellation and change policies. In the event we're unable to reach you to confirm your changes, it is always prudent to call 48 hours ahead of your requested travel date, to confirm final reservation.

Standby Information

We accept vehicles for standby travel on a first come first served basis. Standby travel is not guaranteed.

Standby vehicles are accepted year round for travel between Hyannis and Nantucket, although space is limited.

Standby vehicles are not accepted during Day of Sailing periods for travel between Woods Hole and Martha's Vineyard, see dates listed below.

On non Day of Sailing dates, dates that do not require vehicle reservations, standby travel is available between Woods Hole and Martha's Vineyard. Standby travel is not guaranteed.
